Thousands of mourners lined the streets as the singer's hearse made its way through Los Angeles. However, it quickly descended into chaos when a vehicle drove past and shot four people.

Officers confirmed three men and a woman, aged between 30 and 50, were hit by bullets fired form the grey vehicle, which is now being hunted down by authorities.

He said: "It is a heartbreak to again lose a member of our family. It is a heartbreak because it's so unnecessary.

Around 10,000 mourners lined the streets of LA.

"It is so painful to know that we don't have enough people taking a position that says, 'listen, we must have stronger gun laws'.

"It is unacceptable. It is almost like the world is becoming blind."

Snoop Dogg, who was also in attendance, said of his friend: "You are a peace advocate, Nip. That's what you are."
