As Money Heist viewers chomp their way through part two of season five, which was released on 3rd December, others are new to the series and have been left with one burning question: does Neymar make a cameo appearance in season three?
The third instalment of the Spanish drama TV series was released in July 2019 as it continued to prove hugely popular with both Spanish and English-speaking viewers.
We can confirm that the Paris Saint-Germain forward did indeed make a cameo appearance in La Casa De Papel (as it’s known in Spanish). His followers would have already been expecting this, as he shared the news on Twitter in August 2019, just after the series was released on Netflix.
“I was able to fulfil my dream and be part of my favourite series. And now I can share João with you all! Thanks @lacasadepapel!” said Neymar.

How many episodes are in Money Heist season 3?
Money Heist season three is made up of eight episodes. All episodes were released on the same date in July 2019. The episodes are between 45-60 minutes long.

Will there be a Money Heist season 6?
There isn't going to be a season six per se, but there's currently a spin-off series in the works from Money Heist's creator Álex Pina.
The spin-off, titled Berlin, is said to focus around Berlin - aka Andrés De Fonollosa - one of the robbers in Money Heist. As Fonollosa died in season two, we assume this spin-off will be a prequel. Netflix has said it'll be out in 2023.Featured Image Credit: PA/Twitter/@neymarjr
