Twitter users have fallen in love with Ryan Reynolds all over again after seeing the reaction he had to his wife Blake Lively as she unveiled her second Met Gala look just moments after arriving.
Lively has shown off some incredible dresses on the renowned Met Gala red carpet over the years, but she managed to step up her game this year by pulling off two dresses in one.

In keeping with the Met Gala's 2022 theme 'In America: An Anthology of Fashion' and the 'Gilded Glamour' dress code, Lively's first dress was a copper-coloured strapless Versace gown which featured a long skirt with a bustled section around her hips.
She posed alongside Reynolds, who was wearing a black dinner suit with a white bowtie and waistcoat, before recruiting the help of three team members who unwrapped the bustled section to reveal a new turquoise layer with a long train.
After Reynolds continued up the stairs at New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art to allow his wife to get some pictures by herself, a member of the crowd managed to capture him looking back in awe at Lively as she showed off her new turquoise gown.

The Deadpool star's jaw literally dropped as he watched her place her hands on her hips for the cameras, before his face quickly transformed into a smile. He later could be seen grinning proudly and clapping as members of the crowd cheered for Lively's impressive display.
The moment quickly captured the hearts of internet users, with one Twitter user joking that if a man doesn't look at you 'the way Ryan looks at Blake', then he is 'not the one'.

Lively's second gown paid homage to various New York City icons such as the Statue of Liberty, The Independent reports.
Like Lively's gown, the statue arrived in the US copper, but has since oxidised and turned turquoise.
The bodice of her dress was inspired by New York's iconic Empire State Building, while patterns on the material mimic constellations painted on the ceiling of Grand Central Station.
