While many of us love Jim Carrey for his work in The Mask, Ace Ventura and Bruce Almighty, he's certainly making a new name for himself for his art. Everyone has been pretty blown away with the actor's painting skills, something he's been fiercely passionate about all his life.

The 56-year-old hasn't shied away from controversial topics, mainly US politics, and his latest concoction is the scandal on everyone's lips in the US.

Captioning the post with 'Fifty Shades of Decay', the painting shows President Donald Trump having sex with Stormy Daniels.

The former porn star has made headlines around the world after her alleged affair with the US leader came to light. She claims she slept with Trump several times before he was President and was paid $130,000 (£92,000) in 2016 by Trump's lawyer, Michael Cohen, to stay quiet.

But she's doing the complete opposite.

Her lawyer, Michael Avenatti, has posted a cryptic picture on Twitter showing an unmarked CD, alluding to evidence of the alleged affair.

It seems as though people on Twitter are big fans of Carrey's depiction of the salacious encounter

Anderson Cooper will interview Ms Daniels on 60 Minutes tomorrow, which in turn, suggests that whatever that disc holds might well be revealed - which, as many have pointed out, will probably result in a lot of people watching.

Until then, we'll just have to marvel at Carrey's other artworks, which feature Trump, his press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders and school shootings.

He painted a picture of Trump kissing the backside of Russian President Vladimir Putin last year, and he's also taken aim at Republican party senator candidate Roy Moore (who was accused of sexual misconduct) as well as others within Trump's inner circle.

When President Trump recently gave his State of the Union address, he posted a picture of the USA's 16th president, Abraham Lincoln, crying with the caption: "It's my party and I'll cry if I want to.

The one about Huckabee Sanders provoked a strongly worded reply from her dad, Republican senator Mike Huckabee, who said on Twitter: "Pathetic BULLY, sexist, hater, bigot & "Christaphobe" @jimcarrey attacks @PressSec for her faith; what would be hypocritical Hollywood reaction if he called someone a "so-called Muslim" or "so-called Jew?" #classlessCarrey".

When talking about his love of painting in the short documentary film I Needed Colour, Carrey said: "I think what makes someone an artist is they make models of their inner life,

"They make something come into physical being that is inspired by their emotions or their needs or what they feel the audience needs."
