Pornhub Reveals Top Searches This Christmas With One Having A 400 Percent Spike

Some people really do love Christmas. So much so that they tailor every part of their lives to be as festive as f***. Even their porn searches it would seem...

How do we know? Well Pornhub has revealed how some terms have been spiking - with one increasing by over 400 percent.

This year searches for 'Mrs Claus' have skyrocketed rising by 401 percent (ok so just over 400).

But Santa's wife has been much more sought after in the past - back in 2018 searches for Mrs Claus reached an all time high and they've been declining ever since.

Speaking of Santa, the big man himself has been recorded as the second most searched for term on the site, according to The Sun with a 374 percent rise.

Other popular terms include 'elf', 'xxxmas' as well as 'elf hentai'.

If you've never heard of hentai it's a form of porn that is growing in popularity and consists of adult anime and manga.

Speaking about the spike in interest for this type of porn, Dr Laurie Betito, director of Pornhub's Sexual Wellness Center, said: "Cartoons are more fantastical than regular porn.

"Because it’s not real, it can go further, with less constraints that reality offers.

"Hentai porn also tends to have more of a storyline and people seem to be more and more drawn to context."

As well as 'hentai' growing in popularity on the site, searches for 'threesome' grew by 40 percent worldwide and it became the seventh most popular search in the US and fourth among women.

More information was released that revealed how PlayStation fans are the most likely to use their system to access porn with a 17.6 percent rise on PlayStation-driven traffic to Pornhub compared to 2020.

Xbox systems bring in a respectable 36.8 percent, while Nintendo (Wii U and 3DS since Switch doesn't have a browser) accounts for just 0.4 percent. Hats off to anyone still enjoying a bit of me-time by the cold light of their Wii U tablet.

When it comes to actual games, Fortnite has retained its place as the most-searched for video game on Pornhub, while Minecraft has climbed to second place.

In terms of specific characters, it's Lara Croft at number one, closely followed by D.Va and Super Mario.
