Fans Criticise Conor McGregor For Using His Phone While Driving...Again

This is about the third time the Irish MMA fighter has filmed himself while driving a car and fans are not happy...

Conor McGregor is certainly enjoying the high life after his world-famous bout with Floyd Mayweather last year (which seems like an eternity ago).

He's been on lavish overseas trips, partying like a fresh 18-year-old, renting out theme parks for his friends and family, and buying some pretty decent cars and jewellery.

But his latest attempt at showing off his BMW i8 hasn't gone down well with some fans.

While there are some people commenting on the Instagram video about their dislike for Cardi B (who is heard very loudly over the speakers), or debating other users over his fight with Mayweather; there are also plenty of supporters giving him flak for using his mobile while behind the wheel.

One user wrote: "Way to set an example of being on your phone and driving."

Another added: "Glad you're rich and all, but you being on your phone while driving makes you an absolute idiot."

This person didn't hold back while saying: "Aye and his wee boy will be proud when he sees his dad wrapped round a fucking lamppost because he was driving while using the phone."

Unsurprisingly, this isn't the Irish MMA fighter's first time using a device while also in the driver's seat.

In the clip, which McGregor uploaded to Instagram, he can be seen appearing to drive while laughing - a lot. But he is wearing a seat belt, so that's something.

In Ireland, you could be whacked with a fine of around £70 and three points if caught using your mobile phone while driving - which includes filming weird videos.

Another post that got Conor in a lot of trouble amongst his fans was a cheeky shot of him and his long-time (and at the time still pregnant) girlfriend Dee Devlin.

While it might seem like a cute snap of the happy couple, it's hard to ignore the fact that it was clearly taken while the car was moving, Dee has her feet on the dash (which could cause some almighty injuries in a crash) and she's not wearing a seatbelt.

Some Instagram users jumped to their defence and claimed that they might have been moving slowly - but you can never be too sure.

There are thousands of people who comment on the Irish athlete's photos, and while the subject changes with each post, there's one line of questioning that stays the same: when's your next fight?

He's released a few photos of him back at training and the latest rumour, according to the Daily Express, is his next opponent could be Khabib Nurmagomedov. McGregor seems to have a new fighting adversary every week so we'll take this suggestion with a grain of salt until an official announcement.
