Eddie Hall's Body Transformation After Doing 100 Sit-Ups For 30 Days Is Truly Incredible

Ahead of his upcoming fight with Hafþór 'Thor' Björnsson, Eddie Hall has been doing his best to get in shape - and part of that was his challenge to do 100 sit-ups every day for 30 days. See his phenomenal transformation in the video below:

This September, the two strongmen will go head-to-head in a fight that's been billed as 'the Heaviest Boxing Match in History', taking place in Paradise, Nevada.

The fight had been on the cards for some time before the date was officially confirmed in November 2020, and in May last year, Eddie showed off his incredible transformation after he challenged himself to do 100 sit-ups every day for 30 days.

Like many of us it, seems he'd used the first lockdown of 2020 as a chance to improve his fitness as well as his physique.

The pair are no strangers to rivalry, with Eddie narrowly beating Björnsson when they competed in the 2017 World's Strongest Man competition.

Being as big as possible has its advantages when competing in strongman competitions but for a boxing match, being able to go the distance is important for Eddie - hence the trimmed-down frame.

"Now I'm going to start dropping bodyweight and getting fit," Hall says at the beginning of the clip.

"I'm going to attempt 100 sit-ups. I don't think I'll get there, but it's a building process - Rome wasn't built in a day!

"So I'm going to try and do 100 sit-ups every day, a little bit of boxing work and then I'm going to go for a bike ride and start dropping the pounds.

"I am currently today 386lbs, which is 175kg. English terms? About 27 and three-quarter stone, so just shy of 28 stone."

Five days into the challenge, Hall admitted he was finding it 'really, really hard', saying to camera: "I find myself getting to about 40-45 reps and then I really slow it down."

But he also said he'd already noticed the change in his body, thanks also to dropping his calorie intake and doing 'a lot more cardio'.

He added: "I feel as though very, very quickly, it's starting to come off."

As the days progressed, it sounds like things also got a lot easier for Hall, who ended up changing tack - doing as many sit-ups as he could in one go, before finishing the rest in a second batch to take him up to 100.

And by the looks of his visible six-pack, his efforts have paid off.

"I'm currently 166 kilos," he said at the end of the video.

"So I anticipate I've lost around eight kilos, so about a stone and a quarter in English terms.

"I feel great for it. I feel absolutely fantastic. All the excess fat's gone, my abs have come out massively, so I'm really, really happy with the results."

"As you all know, before I started this video, I'm now on a mission to fight Thor.

"I don't think I'm going to be going in the ring at 160+ kilos. It'd be a bit silly anyway, I think me and Thor both need to drop in bodyweight so we're both fit to do three-minute rounds, step in the ring and give the boxing sport the respect it deserves."

Eddie is set to meet Thor in the ring on 18 September.
