Fans Think The Rock's Super Bowl Team Introduction Is The Best Ever

Fans Think The Rock's Super Bowl Team Introduction Is The Best Ever

Well, it's that time of year again, the whole of the United States of America stops for a while to take in the Super Bowl.

This year, something that happened before a ball was even kicked, thrown, or carried in anger. It was a special introduction for both teams from none other than Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson.

Have a look at it. It's spine-tingling.

Yep, who better to introduce the players taking to the stage in 'The Greatest Show on Earth' than 'The Most Electrifying Man In Sports Entertainment'.

The People's Champ delivered a run down of the most exciting players on each team in his own inimitable style, and if that doesn't get you hyped up for something, then you're probably never going to get hyped about anything.

The fans agree.

Online, one person commented: "I would pay ANY amount of money for The Rock to narrate over my life"

Another said: "The Rock's team intros is just more proof he was the best ever on the mic."

That's definitely true.

A third person wrote: "The Rock introducing both teams was absolutely fantastic & got me super pumped for this game."

As for Rocky himself, he's obviously chuffed to be back in the town that he called home some years back.

In fact, it's obviously a big deal for Johnson to be back, specifically for an American football game. Years before he was in the show Ballers, he played for the Miami Hurricanes and even won the 1991 national championship game.

That's before he left to become the biggest draw in world wrestling, and then the highest paid actor on TV.

Life's been good to him, basically.

Ahead of his big appearance, he tweeted: "It's my honor to be in my old stomping grounds of MIAMI to intro the NFC & AFC CHAMPS.

Today, I live vicariously through you exceptional athletes. Have fun, LEAVE IT ALL on the field.

Mahalo to the @NFL & @FoxTV for this epic opportunity."

As for the game itself, we'll have to wait a few hours to see who will emerge victorious between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers.

It's too close to call, even for experienced gridiron geniuses.

One thing is for certain, we've already seen the real star of the show before the teams have even taken to the field.
