Hey, guess what? More McGregor/Mayweather stuff... Who'd have thought?

To be fair, it's one of the biggest sporting events ever, so we may as well enjoy the hype and anticipation while it lasts, as things like this don't come along too often.

As we approach the fight more and more people are commenting on things, with one of the most recent to do so being one of Floyd Mayweather's old opponents, Manny Pacquiao.

Back in 2015 the pair met in Las Vegas in what was billed as both 'The Fight of the Century' and 'The Battle for Greatness', which is pretty much what this evening's fight is billed as too.

The bout wasn't a particularly fierce affair, but more technical, with Mayweather claiming the victory via unanimous decision.

Pacquiao, along with many fans, has since claimed that 'Money' won the fight by "running."

He's since brought that up again after Mayweather tweeted saying that "talking doesn't win fights."

In a reply which has since been deleted the Filipino said: "but running does [cringey middle-aged Facebook mum-esque wink] God bless on your fight tonight!"

You could debate whether the Pac Man is trying to have a bit of a laugh or is still a bitter about Mayweather's tactics that thwarted him. Given that the tweet has been deleted it's most likely the latter.

Despite the loss he has since commented on McGregor's chances against his former foe, claiming that the Irishman is fighting a losing battle.

"McGregor has no chance in this fight. In fact, it could be very boring," he told Yahoo Sports. "There is no way he will be able to land a meaningful punch on Floyd. How could he? He has no professional experience in boxing."

His words mirror what many have said, predicting that Floyd's ability to avoid damage and pick his punches might prove too much for Conor.

However, now that we're just a few hours from the fight we're finally so close to finding out what the actual outcome will be.

I'm no boxing expert, but if you want my tip if you're looking to put on a bet, a tenner on a Hell in the Cell being lowered over the ring and Mick Foley interfering with a 2x4 wrapped in barbed wire seems a good punt.
