Is there anybody out there who wouldn't pay whatever the pay-per-view gods want you to pay to see Conor McGregor take on Floyd Mayweather Jr in a boxing match? Thought not.

Thankfully, one half of that fight is well up for it. No prizes for guessing who it is.

In an interview with BT Sport, UFC featherweight champ and all-round good guy Conor McGregor has said he'd be well up for a fight with Mayweather if the opportunity arose.

He said, "I'm open to discussions, come at me. But I hold the key and it's me who holds the key to the fight game. I am open minded, I am open to discussion, I love competition, I love fighting. It would be nice to make that fight if the fans were interested and wanted to see it."

Conor, listen up - we are very fucking interested and if you truly hold the keys to the fight game, you should make this happen.

The fight was billed by the interviewer as a 'billion dollar fight' to which McGregor replied, "I'm all about those numbers, Gareth, so I would definitely do that, no problem."

We can't imagine Mayweather would be too upset about those numbers either, he's called 'Money' after all.

Brace yourselves lads, McGregor vs Mayweather could actually happen. But who would win?
