A lot of people have been quick to throw their opinions around about who'll be victorious, Conor McGregor or Floyd Mayweather.

However, the respect for the majority of those opinions is practically non-existent. It's not until a former world champion throws their 50p into the hat that people begin to listen.

Mike Tyson has previously given his thoughts regarding the upcoming 'super fight' between McGregor and Mayweather, claiming that The Notorious won't stand a chance between the ropes.

"I think it's good for boxing. Everything McGregor does, that's good for boxing. I don't think he stands a chance, though," he said during an interview with MAXIM, adding that he believes McGregor 'won't be able to touch Floyd'.

While that still remains to be seen, Iron Mike has added more fuel to the fire, saying the Conor is basically walking into grave danger getting in the ring with Floyd.

We assume Tyson doesn't actually believe that the match will end with the Irishman's death, and is only using certain words for dramatic effect, but in an interview for the Pardon My Take podcast, he said he's going to get 'killed'. He also called him 'McConor', which is odd.

"McGregor is going to get killed boxing," he said. "I got mad because I thought they were going to use MMA rules against boxing because that's what it's all about: Can the boxer beat the MMA guy? McConor [sic] put his dumb ass in a position where he's gonna get knocked out because this guy's been doing this all his life since he was a baby."

"McConor [sic] can't kick and grab and stuff so he won't stand much of a chance. McGregor took the biggest sucker rules in the history of boxing."

Tyson's boxing opinion is obviously respected, so there's a fair chance this will impact a lot of people's predictions. But on the otherhand, I think we're all just really looking forward to the piss up on August 26.

Most of us will be finding alternative ways to watch the actual event, too, that's for sure.

Some second-hand ticket sites are hitting $30,000 (£23,000) for a seat at the T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas, which will house 20,000 lucky people for the night.

Tickets, initially costing £8,000 ($10,412), went on sale on Monday night and sold out within minutes. The tickets were released at 6pm UK time, with many boxing fanatics left empty handed.

For those who won't be able to get to the venue, the pay-per-view options are likely to be cheaper, if still not a bit pricey.

In America, it seems a fee of $89.95 has been set for standard viewing, with a $99.95 (£76.77) price tag on HD.

In the UK, it's been asked whether fans would want to pay any more than £24.95 ($32.48) to see the fight in their own home. Sky Sports Box Office has rarely charged more than £19.95 ($25.97) for big fights previously.

However, UFC President Dana White has said this fight isn't a normal one, and thus normal prices can't be charged.

He commented: "When you talk about superfights, this is a superfight - two different guys from two different sports going in and putting it on the line.

"Obviously, you can't charge what you would normally charge for a pay-per-view... it's the biggest fight ever in the history of pay-per-view."

Mayweather has a perfect 49-0 boxing record, with his last win coming in September 2015 before he retired.

McGregor is the only man to hold two division belts within the UFC, but has made the switch to boxing for this fight.

Current odds have Mayweather at 1/6 to win the fight, with McGregor at 4/1.
