Mike Tyson has shared an impressive new training video, showing off some seriously incredible speed as he gears up for his return to the ring.

Tyson, 53, has been back in training after revealing earlier this year that he'd be returning to boxing, set to take part in four-round exhibition fights for charity.

The former heavy weight champ's been documenting his fitness drive over on Instagram, where he has 11.7 million followers, telling fans in the caption of his latest video: "Training smarter every day."

Tyson appears to be referencing a US company called Smart Cups, which he is believed to have a promotion agreement with, and can be seen in the clip wearing a branded t-shirt.

After Tyson announced he would be taking part in charity fights, he's clearly been upping the ante with his training regime.

Just over a month ago, a videoshowed the boxer promising to return with the 'spirit of Chairman Mao', as he showed off his impressive hand speed.

A few weeks beforehand Tyson also shared another video displaying more of that legendary speed, proving he's not lost it after 15 years away from boxing.

Speaking to rapper T.I on Instagram Live recently, Tyson explained more about the hard work that's gone into his comeback.

He said: "I've been hitting the mitts for the last week.

"That's been tough, my body is really jacked up and really sore from hitting the mitts.

"I've been working out, I've been trying to get in the ring, I think I'm going to box some exhibitions and get in shape.

"I want to go to the gym and get in shape to be able to box three or four-round exhibitions for some charities and stuff.

"Some charity exhibitions, make some money, help some homeless and drug-affected motherf***er like me."

He added: "I do two hours on cardio, I do the bike and the treadmill for an hour, then I do some light weights, 300, 250 reps.

"Then I start my day with the boxing thing, I go in there and hit the mitts, 30 minutes, 25 minutes, start getting in better condition.

"I'm start to put those combinations together. I'm in pain, I feel like three guys kicked the s*** out of me."
