A big surprise in the men's division was a last minute name change. As R-Truth, aka Ron Killings, was walking out in the arena, Nia Jax threw him into a railing and took his place.
She squared off against Mustafa Ali and threw him from the ring, eliminating him from the competition. Nia was eventually eliminated herself, giving way to a showdown between Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman.
It was quite the David and Goliath match-up but Seth pulled out all the stops to be crowned the champion, meaning he will make his way to the highly anticipated Wrestlemania event in April.
Joining him will be Becky Lynch, who clinched the Royal Rumble women's title.

Speaking after her win, she told ESPN: "We have changed the business. I am going to be the first woman to main event WrestleMania and that is happening in April.
"It all started here tonight in front of 50,000 people screaming my name and millions around the world egging me on."
'The Man' was included at the last minute after Lana was eliminated due to an ankle injury in the United States Championship match between Shinsuke Nakamura and Rusev.
Lynch squared off against Asuka for the SmackDown Women's Championship however she couldn't beat the Japanese wrestler.

Earlier in the night Brock Lesnar defeated Finn Balor via submission to claim the Universal Championship belt. The towering giant was nearly toppled by his small opponent when Balor unleashed his Coup de Grace, but Lesnar kicked out at the final moment.
Daniel Bryan defeated AJ Styles via pinfall in the WWE Championship bout in a finish that many reportedly saw coming. Erick Rowan joined the duo in the ring and chokeslammed Styles to give Bryan the win.
A big surprise in the men's Royal Rumble was WWE legend Jeff Jarrett coming into the ring at number two with Elias. Sadly for the 51-year-old he was absolutely crushed and sent packing.
Ronda Rousey retained her title when she faced off
against Sasha Banks in the Raw Women's Championship. Ms Rowdy toppled her
opponent thanks to a pinfall after 14 minutes of gruelling battle.
