The Miz Just Threw Shane McMahon Off A 5 Metre Drop During WrestleMania 35

The Miz Just Threw Shane McMahon Off A 5 Metre Drop During WrestleMania 35

This was absolutely incredible.

WrestleMania is always full of spills and thrills but what just happened at the 2019 event will go down in history.

After years of ups and downs, The Miz fought Shane McMahon in a Falls Count Anywhere in front of 80,000 screaming fans at Met Life Stadium.

The Miz was unstoppable during the bout, absolutely crushing his former teammate all over the stadium. But he took it to another level when he threw McMahon off a five metre platform.

Sadly, the move didn't work out for The Miz as Shane landed on top of him, technically pinning him and losing him the match.

People on social media couldn't believe what they were seeing. One person said: "Miz vs Shane was every bit as mental as I hoped. Proper fun and proper ludicrous. Loved it."

Another added: "For real tho, that's one of the best #FallsCountAnywhere matches I've ever seen and it's probably the best match The Miz has ever had. Top tier stuff right there. Good shit."

A third wrote: "Shane McMahon and The Miz delivered like most probably wouldn't have expected. Wow."

The Miz's dad became WrestleMania 35's best meme by jumping in to protect his son from Shane McMahon's brutal opening moves.

There's a long history between these three people but it reached its peak on Sunday night at Met Life Stadium.

While the dad was dealt a couple of blows to the head and chest, he was spared from further beatings when his son came to his rescue.

The Falls Count Anywhere is known for going all over the stadium and even outside of it in some cases and tonight's match was no exception.

The Miz smashed his way up the stairs and threw Shane McMahon through the international reporter's table. The poor blokes didn't know whether to keep commentating or get the hell out of the men's way.

They did well not to get caught up in the ensuing drama but the same couldn't be said for Shane McMahon - who was not only thrown off the massive platform but also off some stairs.

The two wrestlers looked worse for wear after The Miz's incredible stunt, with both of them failing to get up well after the match was called. That's probably going to hurt in the morning but at least Shanon McMahon walks away (or rolls away) with the title.
