Now that the Disney+ streaming service has dropped in Australia, people have been lapping up everything there is to offer. One of the thousands of TV shows and movies that has been grabbing a lot of attention is The Mandalorian.
It's a spin off series set in the Star Wars universe that occurs five years after the events of Return of the Jedi (the 1983 movie that forms the final part of the series' original trilogy), and follows the adventures of Mandalorian bounty hunter Dyn Jarren.

Even though there are only two episodes out, fans and critics are absolutely raving about the series.
Taking to Twitter, one fan posted: "The Mandalorian is the best Show on Disney+ no regrets."
Another fan said it surpasses the original story, writing: "Cannot stress enough how amazing The Mandalorian is! Best take on the Star Wars universe I've seen, honestly preferring it to the main saga."
But it's not just fans who have been won over by the series - critics have been falling over themselves to heap praise on Disney's new offering.

Writing for Forbes, Dani Di Placido said: "Only two episodes in, and The Mandalorian already feels more authentic.
"The Mandalorian is slightly darker than what we're used to, yet undeniably goofy, packed with peculiar creatures, gunfights that end in disintegrations, and environments that feel like Ralph McQuarrie concept art brought to life."
The new series is directed by Bryce Dallas Howard, perhaps best known for playing Claire Dearing in Jurassic World.
