The reopening continues, and we love to see it. In fact, we didn't realise just how much we missed indoor dining and the ambiance that a venue can add to an evening of socialising. So, as a resfresher of some amazing spots to check out across Northern Ireland, we've teamed up with one of our favourite Irish drinks brands Hop House 13 Lager to shine a light on some of the bars and restaurants in Northern Ireland that are open for business, and ready to host you - whether that's inside or outside.

Read on for a little inspiration on where to choose for the slew of reunions and socialising that will be on the cards for the rest of the summer - and don't waste any time in booking, because demand is high for these highly-coveted tables.

MEKONG, DERRY

Serving some incredible streetfood options on an ever-evolving menu , you can expect to find staples such as Panang Curry and Chilli Pork Ribs in here - but you'll also get some mouthwatering special dishes like Beef Cheek Massaman Curry. If you're in need of a solid streetfood fix, this is your spot.

YARDBIRD, BELFAST

Some of the best rotisserie chicken is on offer here, with great sharing options that are sure to hit spot. They're not just all about poultry though - the ribs here are insane, and the hot sauce accompaniments across the board are top class too.

THE RABBIT ROOMS

Satay Chicken Wings, brilliant Brie Wedges, and a cheese-topped Seafood Pie are just some of the quirky and hearty options plated up here. Check out their weekly food promos too - including Mussel Mondays, and the always-reliable Taco Tuesdays.

THE GATE BISTRO

A top quality bistro in the heart of Derry City, their wide-ranging menu caters to all diners - including veggie options like a stunning Goats Cheese Tagliatelle. Be sure to order the Hot Garlic Parisian Bread with Cheese while there. You'll thank us later.

After having pretty much zero options for places to socialise only a few weeks ago, we can't describe to you the serotonin hit provided by making actual reservations at actual amazing bars and restaurants. So don't waste any more time - hit the WhatsApp group, gather a few pals and you could be basking in the summer sunshine with a delicious pint of Hop House in your hands before you know it!
