It may have taken an eternity but it feels like we are finally approaching the long-awaited return of live music events.
We don't know about you but we spent many the evening in lockdown reliving memories of nights out past. Too often it felt like the nostalgia we felt for the music of seasons past was the closest we were ever going to get to partying again.
With that in mind, we couldn't imagine a more perfect event to mark our return to live events than a bumper 90s disco party held in our one of our country's finest live venues - the 3Arena.
Taking place on October 23rd, Biggest 90's Disco is described as 'an immersive music experience featuring fancy dress, flash mobs, lots of confetti, fireworks and many more special effects and surprises'.
We'll admit, the thought of experiencing a flash mob in 2021 is truly terrifying but thankfully this event also boasts a line-up of some of our favourite 90's music acts including none other than the Venga Boys, N-Trance and Atomic Kitten (we're going to put aside that horrifying 'Football's Coming Home Again' rerecording of 'Whole Again' they inflicted on us earlier this year).

Also scheduled to play are some of the decade's biggest dance music legends such as Gala ('Free From Desire' anyone?), Alice DJ ('Better Off Alone') and 2 Unlimited ('No Limit').
Perhaps the biggest novelty of the night comes in the form of Whigfield who will be taking to the stage to get the crowd moving to her global smash hit 'Saturday Night' - on a literal Saturday night if you don't mind. A Spice Girls tribute act is also primed to keep things light.
So polish off your Doc Martens, dig out that choker and iron that Blur t-shirt at the back of your wardrobe- it's time to party like it's 1999.
Tickets for Biggest 90's Disco range in price from €50 - €65 with both seating and sitting options available - you can pick yours up on Ticketmaster now, this isn't one to be missed.
