Also included in the prize is a free pint of Carlsberg and a meal in Winteryard, if you were looking for a cherry to go on top of the cake. One of the two events (the other is in Dublin's iconic Bernard Shaw) is taking place every Thursday to Sunday throughout December, expect heaps of Christmassy craic to get you into the holiday spirit.

If you're wondering where exactly you would be laying your head, the winner will be staying right above the classic old school pub in a stylish three-bed apartment that's as cosy as can be. Looking out at the town with the river right behind you, you'd be hard set to find a better place to get away from it all.

You'll be right at the heart of all the action for Winteryard as well. What's better again, the pub's location in the town centre makes it the ideal place to explore everything West Clare has to offer.

To make sure you won't be going to bed on an empty stomach, a delicious Middle Eastern-inspired feast of seasonal local ingredients from Ash at Pots awaits. All of which is perfectly complemented by the refreshing taste of Carlsberg!

  • The stay may only be redeemed on the nights listed in the article herein.
• Prizes are non-transferable and will only be awarded to the winner.
• No cash alternative will be awarded in lieu of stated prize(s).
• Winners are chosen at random using an independent 3^rd party.
• In the event that a winner declines the prize awarded to him/her or the Promoters are unable to contact the winner after reasonable efforts have been made, the Promoters may award the prize to another entrant, selected at the same time as the original by the independent 3^rd party.
• If, due to circumstances beyond its control, a prize becomes unavailable the Promoters reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal value.
• Use of a false name or address by a competition entrant will disqualify them from receiving any prize.
• The Promoters will endeavour to deliver all prizes within 28 days of winning. Where this is not possible the winner(s) will be notified of a delay.
