Season 10 of American Horror Story has begun filming, after being delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Star Lily Rabe let slip that she was off filming the upcoming tenth season earlier this month.

Speaking to Digital Spy on 1 December, Rabe said: "We start tomorrow. So I'll be driving to work at 5.30, I think, tomorrow morning."

Back in October, Rabe's co-star Finn Wittrock told fans that filming was set to kick off 'soon' - after it was postponed in March.

Speaking to Collider, the 35-year-old said: "We were supposed to start shooting it back in March, and so all this time it's been, 'When are we going to start?'

"Now, it looks like we're going to be starting at some point relatively soon."

He went on to say that he tried to avoid thinking about the series until he'd been given a start date.

"I'm honestly trying to forget it," he said.

"Because I'll get too obsessed, sitting in my garage doing nothing. I try to forget it exists until I know for sure when we're starting and what's going on."

As ever, creator Ryan Murphy has remained tight lipped about the plot for the new season - but in teaser images he's chosen to share, we've seen a mouth filled with razor sharp teeth and an 'AHS10' tattoo inked on the tongue as well as an equally creepy image showing a pair of hands clinging to a cliff edge, with a large body of water lying below - alongside the words: "Things are beginning to wash up on shore... "

So let your imaginations go wild with that one.

Rabe also refused to share any storyline details during her recent Digital Spy interview.

"I can't," she said when asked for some teasers about season 10.

"I know there are things that have already been said that I can just say again, but you already know them. And there's nothing new that I can say.

"But I think it's going to be - I know it's going to be great. I'm really, really excited about it."

We also know that for the first time Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin will be appearing in the anthology series.

Talking about getting the actor onboard for the show, Murphy Speaking to E! News, the 54-year-old said: "I have always loved Macaulay Culkin's work.

"I loved everything that he's done, I love the stuff he did in Home Alone, I also loved the sort of the older, more recent stuff that he did. And he hasn't worked in a while."
