Bates Motel will be leaving Netflix in just under a month, with the psychological horror series set to be removed from the streaming service in multiple regions on or around 20 February.
The show is a prequel to Alfred Hitchcock's 1960 cinematic masterpiece Psycho, and stars Freddie Highmore and Vera Farmiga as Norman Bates and his mother Norma.
Originally airing on A&E for a total of five series between 2013 and 2017, it found new audiences when it was added to Netflix a couple of years ago.

However, now its time is up, as the series will be removed from the popular film and TV streaming site next month.
According to What's On Netflix, countries including the UK, Canada, Australia, Hong Kong, India and the Netherlands will no longer be able to get their fix of Bates and co. from 19 or 20 February, with the United States expected to follow suit sometime thereafter.

In fact, Bates Motel creator Carlton Cuse has even been working on something brand new for you, now serving as showrunner on the forthcoming 'epic mystery series' Locke and Key - which, as luck would have it, premieres on Netflix on 7 February (again, you'll want to check if this is the case for the country you're in).
Based on a comic series from Joe Hill - who happens to be Stephen King's son - and Gabriel Rodriguez, the new series follows a family in the wake of their father's mysterious death and stars Darby Stanchfield, Jackson Robert Scott, Connor Jessup, Emilia Jones, Bill Heck, Laysla De Oliveira, Thomas Mitchell Barnet, Griffin Gluck and Coby Bird.

The official synopsis reads: "After their father is murdered under mysterious circumstances, the three Locke siblings and their mother move into their ancestral home, Keyhouse, which they discover is full of magical keys that may be connected to their father's death.
"As the Locke children explore the different keys and their unique powers, a mysterious demon awakens - and will stop at nothing to steal them.
"From Carlton Cuse (Lost, Bates Motel) and Meredith Averill (The Haunting of Hill House), the series is a coming-of-age mystery about love, loss, and the unshakable bonds that define family."
