Build-A-Bear Shares First Look At Baby Yoda Stuffed Toy

Ever since Disney's The Mandalorian series started people have been obsessed with Baby Yoda and rightfully so.

Now there's a chance to have your very own version of 'The Child' from the Star Wars spin-off... in the form of a stuffed toy from Build-A-Bear Workshop.

On the website, the toy is described as a 'lovable alien' that is 'sure to bring bountiful hugs for fans who can't get enough of this mysterious species'.

Despite not being available yet you can sign up for email updates to be among the first to know when the toy is available for purchase.

In response to Build-A-Bear's post, one fan said: "I can't wait! My kids are going to flip! Bring us the child! #BabyYoda #TheChild #Mandalorian #buildabearworkshop #StarWarsfan."

Another added: "I will be the first in line. This is the way," while a third suggested: "Please tell me that you're going to be limiting purchases of these in-store and online."

There is no information as yet regarding how much the toy will set you back, but if you really don't want to break the bank then Target in the US is allowing fans to pre-order Hasbro's Baby Yoda toys for just US $9.99 (£8).

Target are also selling a posable action figure, a plush toy, a Funko POP Figure and an array of other merch that will likely get your Mandalorian impulses going.

But don't hold your breath for these to come out any time soon as Target is listing them for release on 4 May - which everyone should know as Star Wars Day ('May the fourth be with you' - c'mon, you know the gag).

As we wait for that to arrive, we can all turn our attention to the mysterious forces that control which emojis are available on our smartphones, because there's a massive petition asking them to make a Baby Yoda one.

The Change.org petition, which already has more than 65,000 signatures, says: "I think Baby Yoda should be an emoji. He stole our hearts and now I want him to steal our keyboard space. Your friend shares a pic of her new born baby?

"Respond with a cute little Baby Yoda emoji to show that you think her little rascal is cute beyond words.

"You're sick and your mom texts you 'do you want some soup?' Respond back with a cute little Baby Yoda to show her that your thirst for soup is insatiable.

"Join me into this movement and let your voices be heard. WE WANT BABY YODA EMOJI!!! Follow me @travbryanmusic on Instagram for updates on petition and my Mandalorian theme song 'This Is The Way'."
