Reality star and former Olympian Caitlyn Jenner is tipped to be heading Down Under for this year's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!

Seventy-year-old Jenner has reportedly been signed up for a whopping £500,000 ($645k) - not bad for spending a couple of weeks in the jungle, eh?

Jenner, who was married to the Kardashian clan's mum Kris, has been on the producer's wish list for years, an ITV source told The Sun.

The unnamed source said: "She's such a huge name and a great get for producers.

"ITV think she is one of their best ever signings. It's a real bolt from the blue. They've asked her every year for a long time, but she finally felt the time was right."

However, ITV has officially said any names linked to the show at this point are just 'speculation'.

In a statement to LADbible, ITV said: "Any names suggested for I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! are just speculation until we officially confirm our line up."

Other stars rumoured to be going to Australia to spend time with snakes and chowing down on kangaroo balls, include football legend Ian Wright, who has reportedly been signed up for an eye-watering £1 million ($1.2m) fee; former Girls Aloud singer Nadine Coyle; and presenter Kate Garraway.

Garraway seemingly dropped a huge hint she would be taking part while on Good Morning Britain recently, telling co-host Ben Shephard: "Even if I was doing it [I'm A Celeb], I couldn't say I was doing it."

Before adding: "I don't like heights. I don't like the dark. I don't like camping, even in a tent." Well in that case, mate, you sound absolutely ideal for the show.

As ever, a couple of soap stars have also been linked to the new line-up, with former EastEnders actor Jacqueline Jossa and Corrie's Andrew Whyment, who plays Kirk Sutherland.

Speaking to The Sun, a source said: "They were chuffed to get Andrew as viewers have watched him on Coronation Street for the best part of two decades, yet know nothing about him away from Kirk."

I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! returns to ITV on Sunday 17 November at 9pm.
