Channel 4 Forced To Edit Shaun Ryder’s Stand-Up After 121 Swears In 10 Minutes

Channel 4 bosses are faced with quite the challenge as they have to edit Shaun Ryder's charity stand-up routine in which he swore 121 times in 10 minutes. Yes, that's just over 12 a minute.

The Happy Mondays frontman dropped all the f-bombs he could find - totalling 110 - while also managing to squeeze in six s***s (not literally), two c***s, two a***s and a b*****ks in his ten minute set on Stand Up And Deliver.

Speaking to The Sun, someone who was in the crowd said: "Shaun's routine was more funny because he swore so much and he kept forgetting what he was talking about.

"So he had the crowd laughing cos he'd be like 's***, what the f***ing hell was I f***ing talking about, again?'"

This has reportedly caused problems for the editing staff working on the show - which is raising money for Stand Up To Cancer.

This can't have come as a surprise to Channel 4 bosses who know all too well that the music man can be a bit... unpredictable when it comes to what he's saying.

The 58-year-old appeared on an episode of Celebrity Gogglebox not too long ago alongside his pal Bez as he confessed to being a whizz when it comes to measuring grams and ounces.

The pair started chatting about social distancing and the possible reduction in the government's two-metre rule. After learning that the distance could be shortened, Bez asked: "But how long's a metre, an arm's length?"

To which Shaun replied: "I don't know, I'm still in f***ing feet, me." Adding: "I know how many grams there are in an ounce..."

Before bursting out into a fit of laughter, Bez then said: "You should keep that knowledge to yourself, mate."

Taking to twitter, one viewer wrote: "Shaun Ryder & Bez on Gogglebox are amazing. Utter legends!

A second put: "Shaun Ryder on Gogglebox I don't know how many feet in a metre but I know how many grams are in an ounce."

A third commented: "Funny as f*** ! Them two should have there own show."

LADbible has contacted Channel 4 for a comment as well as reaching out to Shaun's reps.
