The trailer for A Quiet Place: Part II dropped yesterday and aside from the fact that the sequel to last year's film looks great, all anyone can talk about is Cillian Murphy's new look.

He's sporting a bit of a fetching beard and there have been a s***load of heart-eye emojis all over Twitter wherever he's mentioned.

But it's also thrown up a bunch of reminders that our Cillian often looks completely different from role to role, with people suggesting he may just be the most versatile actor in the industry.

And if you're struggling to remember his many roles, one person posted a selection of Cillian's various looks to Twitter:

The first picture shows him in arguably his most well-known role, as Tommy Shelby in Peaky Blinders - cool, we're all familiar with that look by now, right? Post-war (well, between-the-wars) chic, sleek waistcoats, sharp hair: textbook.

However, it's a stark contrast to his somewhat more dishevelled appearance in A Quiet Place 2. And of course, his role in Peacock (2010) saw him play a man with dissociative identity disorder, whose alter ego dressed in clothing more traditionally associated with women.

I mean, those three alone are pretty spectacularly different.

Of course, it doesn't end there, with people replying with further examples of Cillian sporting yet another contrasting image.

Then there was 28 Days Later:

And another nice collage:

Some even suggest that he takes the crown from Scarlett Johansson for the most adaptable actor:

Compelling evidence.

As for A Quiet Place: Part II, the film will see Emily Blunt return to her role as Evelyn alongside Millicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe, who will be returning as Regan and Marcus, respectively - as well as the new baby.

Then there's Cillian - obviously - as well as Djimon Hounsou, who gave an Oscar-nominated performance in Blood Diamond.

Of course, John Krasinski - who starred in the first movie as Lee and is married to Blunt in real life - won't be starring this time round, but he did direct and write the movie.

A Quiet Place: Part II hits cinemas on 20 March 2020.
