If you're a big fan of the Harry Potter books or films, perhaps you'll want to look away at this point, because Daniel Radcliffe - the face of the film franchise - says that he might be about to 'bite the bullet' and make some significant changes to his appearance.

That is to say, he's planning on getting inked up.

Seems as if 'the boy who lived' is ready to get some real life experience.

In a recent interview with Wired, Radcliffe revealed that he knows that make-up artists would advise against the idea of getting tatted up when you're looking to keep a career in the acting business, but he's 'been talking about this for so long' and 'really' wants to get some.

As part of an 'Autocomplete Interview', Radcliffe said: "There will always be, like, a makeup artist who I know will be like, 'Don't do it, we have to cover them and we secretly hate you for it,'

"But I think I'm going to bite the bullet at some point because I really like them."

Radcliffe says he knows make-up artists won't like it, but he wants to anyway.

He added: "Talk to me in 10 years when I'm just covered just head to toe."

Elsewhere in the interview, Radcliffe addressed the idea that some people say that he looks like The Lord of the Rings star Elijah Wood.

Whilst they're both kinda similar looking, they're not exactly going to be playing twin brothers any time soon, you wouldn't have thought.

That said, Radcliffe would be up for doing something with Wood.

He said: "The idea of me and Elijah Wood is the same.

"We don't actually look that alike. But if you imagine all our component parts, we're just short, pale, blue-eyed, big-eyed, brown-haired people."

Radcliffe continued: "I would love to be in a movie with Elijah Wood. At this point, it feels like it would have to be something that is consciously using the way the world sees us as linked and similar looking.

"I'm very open to pitches. There's no way you can do that because I'm not on social media but if it's good, it'll get to me."

Weirdly, Wood has had to field this question in the past, and from the same publication, too.

In 2020, he told the Wired that the pair have actually met whilst they were both filming the movies that made their names.

He said: "We got to visit the set.

"I met him then, but I don't know if I've met him since. But I certainly get asked if I am him, a lot, which I find really amusing and it doesn't bother me at all, seriously."

Right, well that's good then.
