Deepfake Recreates Back To The Future With Tom Holland And Robert Downey Jr.

Deepfake Recreates Back To The Future With Tom Holland And Robert Downey Jr.

A deepfake recreation of Back To The Future has been made and it's well and truly blown people's minds.

The one minute 20 second clip shows a scene from the 1985 classic starring Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd, who play Marty McFly and eccentric scientist Doc Brown, respectively.

McFly, a 17-year-old high school student, is accidentally sent thirty years into the past in a time-travelling DeLorean invented by his close friend, Doc.

Now, a YouTuber who goes by the name EZRyderX47 has recreated a scene from the film - and changed the actors to Tom Holland (playing Marty McFly) and Robert Downey Jr. (playing Doc).

Since being posted on 14 February, the video has garnered over 1.5 million views with 18,000 likes and people are very impressed to say the least.

One person wrote: "This is - by far - the best deepfake video, I've ever seen," while another added: "Gets so close up on their faces and you'd never be able to tell. Amazed how far this has come so quickly."

"And just like that, I can't believe anything I see ever again," another person commented. A fourth wrote: "I showed this to my mum and she didn't know what was even happening in the video, she was baffled! It's probably the most realistic deepfake I've seen to date. Nice work!"

Another suggested: "Pretty soon, I will be able to watch a movie with my face on the lead where I can finally get the girl and be rich and a hero. The ultimate escapism."

Someone else even called for a new Back To The Future, saying: "Me: HOLLYWOOD DON'T EVER TOUCH BACK TO THE FUTURE AGAIN LEAVE IT BE.

"Sees this

"Me: S**t this looks good!"

Replying to some of the comments, the creator said: "The training time is important. The more you train the model and the more accurate it it will be. The most important thing is the source images.

"You need top notch quality and you need all angles from the face. After that you have to learn how deepfacelab works, do a lot of tests and have a lot of patience."
