The Community reunion is officially happening and fans across the globe are very excited to see their favourites back in one virtual place.

But there has been a lot of doubt about whether Donald Glover, who played Troy Barnes, would return for the one-off special and finally we've been given confirmation: the big man is back.

Rolling Stone reports the main cast (except for Chevy Chase) will return for a charity table read, which will be broadcast in a week and a half.

Glover will be joined by Joel McHale, Alison Brie, Gillian Jacobs, Danny Pudi, Yvette Nicole Brown, Ken Jeong, and Jim Rash.

He hasn't taken part in any Community event since the series ended, according to the A.V. Club, so this return as Troy Barnes is a very juicy update.

They will do a virtual table read of the episode titled 'Cooperative Polygraphy', from the fifth season, which deals with the death of Chase's character Pierce Hawthorne.

The episode's synopsis is: "Returning to the study-room after Pierce Hawthorne's funeral, the study-group are greeted by Pierce's executor, Mr. Stone.

"Pierce's will stipulates that, no matter the apparent cause of his death, the group must undergo a polygraph examination as part of a private inquest to determine if any member of the group murdered him.

"During the session, the group is asked a series of personal questions that reveal selfish things they have done, such as Troy and Abed using Jeff's Netflix account without his permission, Abed hiding GPS tracking devices on everyone to track their locations, and Annie having slipped the members of the group pills in order to make them more alert for studying.

"The group repeatedly becomes tense and confrontational, and when they try to blame Pierce for setting them up Mr. Stone shuts them up by pointing out that 'Pierce' had not posed them any questions in a long time."

They eventually stick together and get through the awkward situation together.

There will also be a question and answer section after the live table reading so if you have any big questions about the show, you've got a couple of days to get them sorted. The event will air on May 18 on Sony Pictures TV's Community YouTube page.
