Netflix viewers who have been watching Red Notice starring Ryan Reynolds, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, and Gal Gadot have already been calling for a sequel. Check out the trailer below:

The film was released on the streaming platform yesterday and already, fans are after seeing more of the action.

The action-comedy film sees the three Hollywood A-listers involved in an art heist, although - as is so often the case - there's a bit more to it than that, and not everything is as it seems.

If the movie is as big a hit as expected, it's almost certain that Netflix will be swift in commissioning a second film, chucking liberal amounts of cash at the project in the process.

After all, you don't end up with a headline cast like that on the cheap.

It's perfectly set up for it too, because - without giving too much away - there's plenty of room to work with for a second film as there's a twist at the very end of the tale.

The Rock has even expressed his desire to make another film personally.

His Seven Bucks Productions company produced the film, so he'll no doubt have some say in whether it comes back for another spin.

The Brahma Bull told SiriusXM: "I would love to do more...

"It's up to the audience, so we will see. I will tell you that just based off of reaction so far and what we've been able to cull from the audiences, there's a good chance that we will see a return of this,

"And as a matter of fact, literally within the next hour, I'm meeting [director] Rawson Thurber here at this hotel and he, in his mind, has a 45-minute pitch that apparently is really good for Red Notice 2."

There you have it.

That will certainly please the many fans who have been sharing their opinion on the prospect of a sequel online since the first film's release.

One person tweeted: "I need a sequel, pretty please with a cherry on top of a sundae."

A second wrote: "Thoroughly enjoyed Red Notice. Can I get a sequel please?!"

A third said: "Just watched Red Notice and I honestly really needed that after a sh***y week.

"Amazing movie and looking forward to the sequel already but you need to do outtakes!!!!!!!!!!!I'm laughing at the thought of them already."

If the people want it, there's a good chance that it'll happen.
