Since You hit screens, fans around the world have had a confusing relationship with its protagonist.
That's because aside from being a murderous stalker, Joe Goldberg, played by Penn Badgley, is very handsome, causing some viewers to both fear him and want to jump his bones.
And since it was announced the show had been renewed for a third season, fans have been going wild, demanding that Penn keep his beard for the new episodes.

Taking to Twitter to share their love for some face fuzz, one person said: "Can season 3 of You give Joe Goldberg a beard."
A second fan wrote: "I hope they let Joe keep the beard in the 3 season of You."

A third demanded: "Petition to let Penn Badgley keep his beard for You Season 3."
News that You has been renewed for a third season emerged less than three weeks after season two dropped.
But it probably doesn't come as much of a surprise to many. That's because actor Penn let the cat out of the bag a few weeks ago while speaking to Entertainment Tonight.
The 33-year-old actor seemed to slip up while discussing the possibility of a female killer being found out in the current series, as he said: "She doesn't appear to be the same kind of person. She doesn't appear to be the same kind of predator. She doesn't appear to be the same kind of... you know, dare I say, in the third season - oh, God!"
Oh God indeed.

Realising his mistake, Badgley slapped his head before adding: "I literally know nothing about the third season."
Off the back of the reviews from the second season, it's not hard to understand why the streaming service opted to give the show a third.
One person on social media wrote: "You season 2 is so good, haven't finished yet but I can definitely say they really did a good job. The plot is so absurd but all the characters are SO interesting. Candace is the baddest b****, I love her."
Another added: "Help, I can't stop watching You season 2. I am glued to my bed all night."
While a third said: "Just finished the new season of You. Yes I've been up since 3am and wasn't gonna sleep until I've finished... and let me tell you... that damn Joe."
You season two is currently available to watch on Netflix. The third season is due in 2021.
