Netflix Reveals Sneak Peak At Umbrella Academy Season Two - And Fans Are Loving Baby Pogo

The return of Netflix's superhero drama The Umbrella Academy is just days away and the streaming service is keeping viewers excited with a slow-drip sneak peak at what we can expect.

Unsurprisingly, fans of the hit show are losing it - especially after getting their first look at one little fella in particular.

So who's getting viewers all in a tizz? Why, it's Baby Pogo.

Following on from the first season, people wondered how the Hargreeves family's chimpanzee butler could make a comeback, given his brutal murder at the hands of Vanya in the climactic episode, 'The White Violin'.

That episode also saw the family travel back in time in a bid to stop the apocalypse, and from the trailer, it would seem the second season is set in the 1960s:

It looks like we'll get a more in-depth look at the Hargreeves' history, as we see the superpowered children meeting a young Sir Reginald - who would end up becoming their adoptive dad and forming the Academy.

The trailer goes on to show Sir Reginald clasping hands with a small, nappy-donning chimpanzee, which can only mean one thing.

It's clear that fans are pretty excited about Baby Pogo - similar to Star Wars fans with Baby Yoda.

For example, one person took to Twitter simply writing: "BABY POGO BABY POGO BABY POGO BABY POGO BABY POGO BABY POGO BABY POGO BABY POGO BABY POGO BABY POGO BABY POGO BABY POGO BABY POGO BABY POGO BABY POGO BABY POGO BABY POGO BABY POGO BABY POGO BABY POGO BABY POGO BABY POGO BABY POGO BABY POGO BABY POGO BABY POGO BABY POGO BABY POGO..."

You get the picture.

Another fan commented: "BABY POGO!!!! *jumps up and down and claps*," adding: "I only have eyes for Baby Pogo!"

A third person wrote: "Right, who's on standby to make sure that Jason Sudeikis doesn't turn up and punch this one?" With Umbrella Academy's official account responding: "He better not!"

The popular superhero show is an adaptation of the comic series of the same name, created by My Chemical Romance frontman Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá, and stars the likes of Ellen Page, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman and Mary J. Blige.

It revolves around a band of 'estranged siblings with extraordinary powers', who are reunited by their father's death - a mystery they must solve together.
