Fans Can't Believe Tracy Beaker Actor Dani Harmer Was In Harry Potter
Fans were left shook after learning that Tracy Beaker actor Dani Harmer appeared as an extra in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.
Taking to Twitter, one fan who believed they'd spotted Harmer, now 32, behind Hermione Granger, wrote: "I think I found @DaniHarmer in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, she is behind Oliver Wood after Hermione speaks."
Harmer confirmed she was in fact in the film and fans were left flummoxed. One wrote: "Omg! I remember reading years ago that you were in it but I've never been able to spot you before! You look so young here!"
Another added: "How many times have I watched this film and never noticed omg." A third commented: "This blows my MIND."
Someone else suggested: "Imagine swapping the lives of Harry Potter and Tracy Beaker, I think Beaker would have handled the Dursleys and Potter would've preferred the dumping ground."
Last year, the BBC shared first look pictures of Tracy Beaker as a mum as the channel prepares for a new series, focusing on her life as an adult with a child of her own.
Dani will be reprising her tole but she now has an 11-year-old daughter, Jess, who is played by Emma Davies.

My Mum Tracy Beaker is told from the perspective of Jess and follows the pair as they struggle to cope financially, with Tracy finding love in the form of a rich ex-footballer boyfriend Sean Godfrey (Jordan Duvigneau).
Davies said she was a huge fan of the CBBC series The Story of Tracy Beaker - adapted from the Jacqueline Wilson novels - and that she can't wait for the new show to hit our screens.
She said: "I'm really enjoying playing Jess Beaker, she's such a fun character to play. It was so awesome to start work on the show as me and my brother have watched Tracy Beaker for as long as I can remember, we are huge fans!
"Filming so far has been fantastic, everyone is really nice and friendly and I'm having the best time."
In her own statement, Harmer said: "Words can't describe how excited I am to bring Tracy back.
"I'm just like all the fans and have been desperate to find out what Tracy has been up to and where her next journey is going to take her. It's been so lovely to work with some familiar faces too. The script is brilliant and I think the audience is going to love where the story goes."
My Mum Tracy Beaker will debut on the BBC iPlayer on 12 February.
