If you were gripped by American Murder: The Family Next Door, then you may want to try Unsolved Mysteries' 'House of Terror' episode, which is also available on Netflix. You can watch the trailer for the series here:

The episode explores the grizzly case of French aristocrat Xavier DuPont De Ligonnès, whose wife, four children and two dogs were all found dead in their home in France after he disappeared in 2011.

I won't spoilt the ending for you, but the series title is a bit of a give away.

There's another five episodes for you to sink your teeth into as well, so it could be the ideal next-watch if American Murder has whet your appetite for true-crime.

Vice versa, if you enjoyed Unsolved Mysteries, you should really get on American Murder. It dropped on Netflix last week and has been shocking viewers ever since.

The harrowing film uses police tapes, social media posts, and bodycam footage to tell the story of Chris Watts, who murdered his pregnant wife Shanann, 34, and their two children, Bella, four, and Celeste, three.

Again, I won't tell you how it ends, but it's much more satisfying than Unsolved Mysteries from a justice perspective.

You can watch both shows on Netflix now, with volume two of Unsolved Mysteries due to be released on 19 October.
