The final two episodes of the incredible The Last Dance documentary series will land on Netflix today.

It's no surprise that arguably one of the best sporting documentaries of all time follows the best basketball player of all time: Michael Jordan.

Critics and viewers have absolutely adored the series as it deep dives into Jordan's career with the Chicago Bulls, culminating with his final season in 1997/98.

Jordan has been portrayed as an unrelenting, passionate, win-at-all-costs athlete in the series. Sometimes he looks admirable, incredible and someone worthy of being called the G.O.A.T and other times you can see why he was difficult to work with.

Former Bulls centre Will Perdue summed it up brilliantly in The Last Dance when he said: He was an a**hole, he was a jerk, he crossed the line numerous times.

"But as time goes on and you think back about what he was actually trying to accomplish, you're like, 'Yeah, he was a hell of a teammate.'"

He added that it was difficult playing with Jordan at time because he wanted to win so badly.

"Everybody knows and has the picture in their mind where we beat Cleveland on that last shot [in the 1989 playoffs] and he [Jordan] is punching the air and he's all excited.

"That's who we knew. The competitive Michael Jordan, the win at all costs Michael Jordan. Sometimes we questioned whether he was human, whether he had feelings. [He was] just a guy who was focused on one thing and one thing only.

"The only emotion we had ever seen out of him was anger or frustration. We were literally stunned to see those emotions [of Jordan crying in the locker room]."

That story will finally come to an end as episodes nine and 10 are released onto Netflix around the world.

Having seen the whole documentary series before everyone else, Jordan admits that he doesn't come off great in some parts.

Speaking to The Athletic, the 57-year-old said there were some scenes that didn't sit too well with him.

He told the publication: "When people see this footage I'm not sure they're going to be able to understand why I was so intense, why I did the things I did, why I acted the way I acted, and why I said the things I said."

So, if you've been holding off watching it so you can binge the whole thing, you can certainly do so.

The Last Dance is available to stream on Netflix now.
