The Friends actors were the biggest stars on the planet during their heyday, but now we're reduced to watching reruns on streaming services with some of the cast teasing us every now and then with a reunion.

If you're sick of being duped into thinking there's new material on the horizon then do we have news for you: the TV show has been turned into a musical.

NBC

Producers have transformed the 10 seasons of the show into a stage performance, taking all the best bits and chucking in a few musical numbers.

Could we BE any more excited?

Friends! The Musical Parody will obviously focus on Rachel, Monica, Phoebe, Joey, Chandler and Ross in 1990s Manhattan, where they go through ups and downs, break ups and romances, and loads of coffee at Central Perk.

We cannot wait for the 'We Were On A Break' number.

Tickets go on sale this week and the show will be hitting Brisbane on August 7 and 8, Melbourne on August 28 and 29, Parramatta on September 11 and 12, Adelaide in September on the 25th and 26th and finally in Perth for October 3.

Jennifer Aniston, who played the iconic Rachel on the show, recently scared the crap out of a bunch of Friends fans.

The 50-year-old was a guest host on The Ellen Degeneres Show when she decided to check out her old stomping ground.

Introducing the clip, she said: "So, you probably know that Ellen's show is filmed on the Warner Bros lot and I spent about 10 years here on a show called Friends.

"And the set is actually still here, it's a part of the Warner Bros studio tour. So I thought while I was still here, I would go and take a visit. Let's see what happened."

It then cuts to a group of fans being led on to the set for coffee shop Central Perk, taking a seat on the orange sofa. They're then asked who their favourite character in the show was, to which they reply: "Ross."Awkward.

Then, as they pose for a photograph, Aniston jumps up from behind the sofa and shouts: "Ross?!"

The shocked fans then all scream, hysterically. As you probably would.
