When you think of '90s nostalgia, it can spark thoughts of petrol being less than $1, Tamagotchis and classic Aussie TV shows.

While most of those things aren't around anymore, we have been gifted with a slice of nostalgia.

Full episodes of Round the Twist have been uploaded to YouTube for free, with new videos being uploaded every Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The Australian Children's Television Foundation (ACTF), aka legends, have decided that this is a time where brilliant Australian TV needs to be appreciated once again.

Dozens of rough-20 minute episodes from four seasons have already been uploaded so far.

If you've seen a few bits from the show, then you'll know that the plot lines were sometimes a little outrageous.

ACTF's marketing Manager Jenny Buckland admitted Round the Twist really pushed the boundaries for what is acceptable for children's television.

She said: "The scripts were declared 'too rude', 'not for television' and 'outrageous'."

To give you a little refresher on some of the topics, the show dealt with: flatulence, defecation, urination, vomiting, body odour, underwear, birth (one involving a male), death, nudity, incest, genitalia, homosexuality, bestiality and coprophagia aka the consumption of faeces.

That one involving a boy giving birth was a doozy.

'The Big Burp' from season three focused on Pete, who decided to urinate on a tree. A tree spirit known as a dryad suddenly emerges and said that she has fallen in love with him.

Pete somehow (don't ask questions) becomes pregnant with the nymph's baby and he ends up giving birth through his mouth in a massive burp.

Afterwards, he vomits up a load of green slime, which was called an 'after-burp'.

Yeah, we told you it was hectic.

But that's not the only nostalgic TV show that's being brought back.

Aerobics Oz Style was pretty iconic during its heyday, but it looks like we'll get to relive those legendary fitness moves now that everyone is in lockdown.

Channel 10

Keeping fit has been difficult for some people who would normally be doing a yoga, pilates, Zumba or other style of class workout.

But Channel 10 is here to remedy this situation by bringing back Aerobics Oz Style.

A statement from the network said: "Pacing us through those gentle-yet-effective heel taps, the complicated grapevines and powerful knee lifts, it was this troop who provided fitspo well before the active wearing influencers of today."

It used to air every morning on the network at 6am and later 6.30am. Between 1982 and 2005, there was a whopping 4,500 episodes produced.

Now you'll be able to stream some of them on 10 Play.
