Gordon Ramsay's Brutal Dismissal Of US MasterChef Contestant Goes Viral

Footage has emerged online that shows Gordon Ramsay at his most brutal when sending a woman home from the US's version of MasterChef.

As you can see from the TikTok video above, Ramsay asks the preppy would-be contestant who she has brought with her to the audition, before asking her to bring each and every one of her smiling cheerleaders out, then telling her that she's not progressing on the show.

It's simple, but seriously effective. That's the Ramsay we've come to know and love over the years.

In recent times, Ramsay has had something of an image turnaround, particularly since he started being a bit more of a wholesome 'TikTok Dad' sort of character.

However, the old Gordon is still alive and well within him, as we can see from his frequent videos roasting people for their attempts at cooking.

This MasterChef clip just goes to show that he's 100 percent still capable of the kind of withering dismissal and wonton cruelty that made viewers around the world fall in love with him in the first place.

Since it was shared by user @_m0_g, the video has been watched more 4.3 million times, liked more than 1.2 million times, and received nearly 15,000 comments from people chiming in about Gordon's absolute destruction of this poor woman.

Many have pointed out that Gordon has a malevolent smile on his mush as he sends the woman away to bring in her family, knowing full well she's about to get bodied.

Among the people writing things like 'he has no chill' and 'he woke up and chose violence', there are some moments of genuine concern for the poor contestant.

One such person wrote: "No way you can be this happy over failing someone".

Well, that person is obviously a much nicer person than most of us, because it's really funny.

Another person who obviously enjoyed it posted a slew of cry laughing emojis after writing: "They had posters and everything just to get shut down."

A third wrote: "I would drop off the face of the earth if this happened to me."

Either way, it's yet further proof that while Gordon's image may have softened over the years, the old Ramsay still lurks deep within there, ready to emerge and completely devastate any unsuspecting TV show contestant.

Just remember that before you head onto one of his shows or - heaven forfend - send him a video of anything you've ever cooked.
