Pictures show which contestants will be taking part in the first challenges for I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! ahead of the new series kicking off tonight (21 November).

Good Morning Britain's Richard Madeley, 65, has joined singer Frankie Bridge, 32, for the Turrets of Terror task, after they were voted in by the public in advance.

The challenge - which will air in tonight's episode - sees them presented with a giant, three-level structure with two turrets on either side.

Host Ant McPartlin explains: "Hanging high in the air between the two turrets are two giant keys. The first celebrity to make their way to the top and grab their key will win.

"Each Turret is made up of three floors with stairs leading to the next level.

"However, to get to the next level you need to go through a locked gate. On each floor you must retrieve the keys to unlock the three padlocks to open each gate.

"When you get to the roof of the turret you must use your lance to hook your key and drag it over to you. The first celebrity to retrieve their key has won."

Yesterday, we were also given a glimpse of the celebs' 'humble abode' for the next few weeks, which features 'stone-cold walls' and 'old camp beds'.

The last series of the show - won by podcast host Giovanna Fletcher - took place in the UK for the first time after the Covid-19 pandemic forced producers to scrap plans to film the programme at its usual base in Australia.

Along with Madeley and Bridge, this year's celebrity line-up features broadcaster and ex-BBC Breakfast host Louise Minchin, Olympic Gold Medallist Matty Lee, Radio 1Xtra DJ Snoochie Shy, choreographer Dame Arlene Phillips, music producer Naughty Boy, Paralympic Gold Medallist Kadeena Cox, football legend David Ginola and Emmerdale star Danny Miller.

I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! begins tonight at 9pm on ITV.
