The episode of Red Table Talk featuring Jada Pinkett-Smith discussing her affair with August Alsina with her husband Will has smashed the viewing figures record for Facebook Originals in the first 24 hours.
In the episode, Pinkett-Smith talks frankly and honestly with her husband about a relationship she had with the singer while she and Will were temporarily separated.
The 12-minute-long episode, entitled 'Jada Brings Herself to the Table' saw the couple chat through their marital turmoil, including the time they split up and Pinkett-Smith embarked on a fling with Alsina.
Within just 16 hours of the video being posted unannounced, it had already been viewed 12 million times, which smashes the previous one-day record for views. That previous record was held by the Red Table Talk episode featuring Jordyn Woods talking about the rumours she had sex with NBA basketball star Tristan Thompson.
That got 7.6 million views in the first 24 hours, so that should give you some idea of how well this latest episode has done
The conversation between the Smiths, which Jada said was recorded last week, was shared without any prior warning apart from a 2 July tweet from Pinkett Smith in which she wrote: "There's some healing that needs to happen...so I'm bringing myself to The Red Table."
The show has been the biggest hit by miles for the Facebook Originals channel, proving that this particular brand of unscripted show is appealing to the masses.
Speaking in a recent review, Variety's Caroline Framke said: "It's a perfect distillation of what 'Red Table Talk' and the Pinkett-Smiths do best: dissecting a controversial topic with meticulous consideration, an eye for relating it back to the audience, and just enough intrigue to keep people guessing as to what's truly going through their heads."
The show is regularly presented by Pinkett-Smith alongside her daughter Willow and her mum Adrienne Banfield-Norris.
It garnered a nomination for a daytime Emmy award last year, a first for a Facebook show.
In this latest episode, Pinkett-Smith explained how she entered the relationship with Alsina when she was on a break from her husband.
They've since reunited, of course.

Alsina has claimed Will gave him permission to date Jada, but both Will and Jada deny this.
She said: "As time went on, I got into a different type of entanglement with August.
"The only person that can give permission in that circumstance is myself.
"But what August was probably trying to communicate because I could see how he could see it as permission because we were separated amicably, and I think he wanted to make it clear he's not a homewrecker because he's not."
She expanded: "It was a relationship, absolutely.
"I was in a lot of pain, and I was very broken. In the process of that relationship I definitely realised that you can't find happiness outside yourself.
"I just wanted to feel good. It had been so long since I felt good... and it was really a joy to just help heal somebody."
"Through that particular journey, I learned so much about myself and was able to really confront a lot of emotional immaturity, emotional insecurity and I was really able to do some really deep healing.
"And as I came through and started to realise certain things about you and I, he decided to break all communication with me which was totally understandable. And I let that be and hadn't talked to him since so it is a little weird that all this stuff is coming out now since this was several [years ago]."
