Kanye West marked his wife Kim Kardashian-West's 39th birthday yesterday by donating $1,000,000 (£773,000) in her name to charities that she supports.
That's a pretty nice gesture, isn't it?
To be fair, what exactly would you buy someone like Kim for her birthday? Chocolates and a bunch of flowers probably aren't going to cut it.
Anyway, this year the reality TV star's rapper husband Kanye decided that instead of getting her more material things - you'd have to imagine she has enough of those already - he'd do something really nice for her in her name.
That means that several charities that are close to the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star received a nice surprise as well yesterday.
Kim announced the news on her Twitter by sharing a photo outlining the good causes that had received donations.
She wrote: "I got amazing gifts from my whole family and Kanye for me the most amazing bags.
"But he also donated $1 million to my favourite charities that work so hard on prison reform on my behalf from him and the kids. This makes my heart so happy!"
Ah, so she got the bags as well, too. What a day.
To be fair to her, Kim has long been an ardent supporter of prison reform.
She's spoken to folks as powerful as US President Donald Trump on the subject, getting him to support legislation that helps prisoners transition back into society and attempts to guard against re-offending.
In fact, earlier this year it was announced that she is studying to take legal exams and pass the bar.
Basically, she really cares about this. That's good news, because it's really important, and her chosen charities could surely use the extra boost that $1,000,000 would bring to them.
In more traditional form, Kim also received a selection of birthday greetings from her famous family. Kylie Jenner took to Instagram to praise her 'big sister' to her 149m-strong following.
She wrote: "Happy birthday to my beautiful big sister,
"I'm so blessed to have you in my life!! Your love, guidance, selflessness and loyalty are unmatched I love you in this life and beyond!!!"
As well as that, the whole family enjoyed a birthday meal together in Florida to celebrate. Kim also shared this with her online following, writing: "I spent the weekend with my amazing friends in Palm Springs and then had a family dinner at my house tonight thrown by my mom and Kanye."
