In last night's Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins Katie Price became the first star to quit the show and has blamed her boobs for becoming inflamed.

The 41-year-old mum of five was trying to lift a sandbag over her head, but just wasn't up to the task.

Now, the former glamour model has said she wasn't medically able to do the gruelling challenge - insisting that it wasn't just because she wasn't fit enough.

Katie said: "I pulled something in training. My breast reduction became inflamed. It was out of my control. I was gutted. I had to leave because of the pain I was in.

"I'll never take my creature comforts for granted again. I left with new life goals. I left the old Katie up there. She's not coming back."

Finally handing Ant Middleton her number.

After giving in, she went into the medical room where she said: "I'm so p***ed off, I didn't have the strength to keep holding my arms straight. It's not an excuse it's just me, how it feels for me.

"I will always f***ing beat myself up. I'm so pissed off with myself."

The show has become well known for not hiding anything or treating the contestants differently because of their celeb status.

The 12 well-known faces will embark on the toughest test of their lives facing a gruelling course in the challenging terrain of the Scotland's rugged West Coast.

The celebrity recruits will leave their glamorous lives behind and live together in a derelict farmstead on the remote island of Raasay where they will be exposed to Scotland's unforgiving weather, harsh landscape and volatile seas.

Putting them through our toughest course yet is Chief Instructor Ant Middleton, along with his team of Directing Staff, Foxy, Billy, Ollie and newest member Jay. The DS don't care how famous the recruits are, how many followers they have on social media or what they have done before this. As soon as they enter the selection process their celebrity status will be stripped away.

This season's celebrity recruits are: TV personalities Katie Price and Joey Essex; TV presenters Anthea Turner and Helen Skelton; ballroom dancer Brendan Cole; former Premiership footballer John Fashanu; Hollyoaks actress Nikki Sanderson; Youtuber Jack Maynard; Paralympic athlete Lauren Steadman; Rudimental DJ Locksmith; Radio 1Xtra DJ Yasmin Evans; and former boxing champion Tony Bellew.

Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins airs on Mondays at 9pm on Channel 4 or you can catch up on All 4.
