People Are Calling For Kill Bill Sequel Where Black Mamba Fights Copperhead's Daughter

It's been 17 years. Copperhead's daughter is all grown up now.

There have been talks about having a third Kill Bill film and many are wondering what angle it could take.

The second instalment wrapped up the franchise in a nice, little bow: Black Mamba (Uma Thurman) got what she wanted and eventually killed Bill (David Carradine) and was able to reunite with her daughter.

But if Quentin Tarantino is serious about squeezing a third film into the canon, then fans have one idea they reckon would be pretty neat.

One Twitter user wrote that since it's been 17 years (yes, it's been that long) since the first film was released, technically Copperhead's daughter would be all grown up.

In the 2003 film, Thurman's character fights one of the members of the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad in her home.

When she eventually kills Copperhead (Vivica A. Fox) in a dramatic knife fight, Black Mamba, aka the Bride aka Beatrix Kiddo, is shocked to see her enemy's four-year-old daughter, Nikki, standing behind her.

She tells the young girl: "It was not my intention to do this in front of you. For that I'm sorry.

"But you can take my word for it, your mother had it coming. When you grow up, if you still feel raw about it, I'll be waiting."

Someone has even made a trailer for the potential film.

People are saying that the third film could be called Kill Bill: Volume 3 - Still Raw About It, Nikki's Revenge or even Kill Beatrix.

Now that would be one hell of a movie and would allow the plot to shift to Nikki as the protagonist. It could be an emotional rollercoaster as well as a physical one.

Vivica A. Fox recently told the Hollywood Reporter that she is very on board with this idea: "Oh my gosh, I can't wait. I think they're waiting for [Vernita's] daughter to grow up.

"So, the latest I've heard is that [Quentin] and Uma have been talking, and I'd love for them to figure it out. Quentin is great with flashbacks and figuring out some kind of way to make his characters alive again in a film."

Tarantino hasn't been shy about talking about the potential third film. Last year he told Sirius XM Radio what Kill Bill Vol. 3 might look like.

"Well, I just so happen to have had dinner with Uma Thurman last night," he said. "We were at a really cool Japanese restaurant. She was bragging about me, and I was bragging about her. It was a lovely night."

"I do have an idea of what I would do. That was the whole thing, conquering that concept... exactly what's happened to The Bride since [the last film], and what do I want to do [next].

"Because I wouldn't want to just come up with some cockamamie adventure. She doesn't deserve that!

"The Bride has fought long and hard. Now, I have an idea that actually could be interesting. I wouldn't do it for a little bit, though. It would be like at least three years from now, or something like that.

"But look, it is definitely in the cards."
