This is what happened when a man set up a camera directed at his window after it had started opening up at night:
The man was waking up in the morning to find his previously locked window wide open, so set up a camera to see what was going on.

He watched in disbelief as the window latch popped up, giving the window chance to open 'quite quickly'.
Speaking on Discovery's Unexplained: Caught on Camera, the man living in the house said: "I couldn't actually believe what I was seeing, I thought 'no, this can't be happening."
He went on to add: "The window latch pops up, scary just seeing that. And then the window... opens. Quite quickly actually. It didn't slam shut, it just stayed open."

The programme's scene was posted on TikTok where it has since been watched over 760,000 times as well as getting more than 44,000 likes.
People started talking about what they thought was going on. Giving suggestions, one theorised: "It's stop motion recording. They pause the recording, move it a tiny bit, start the recording and repeat."
I hope that's the case.
In agreement, another wrote: "Really... it's amazing what fishing line can do."

A spirit enthusiast was quick to ask: "If a ghost is going to go through all trouble to move the latch why not just come through the closed window? Why does it need to be opened?"
A fifth wrote: "This type of stuff is common now, demons aren't hiding anymore. Also I'm pretty sure they love social media."
They continued: "Yes, they know in the end they are going to the lake of fire and they want to take as many of us as they can with them to spit in God's face."

Well, that escalated.
Others joked it was the ghost's way of telling the people living in the property to turn down the heating.
One wrote: "Ghost telling you to turn down the thermostat bro."
