Filmmaker Martin Scorsese's daughter played an expertly-judged festive prank on her dad by wrapping his Christmas presents up in Marvel wrapping paper.
You might remember that Martin and Marvel had something of an exchange a while back, perhaps?
Well, as we all know, during the Christmas period you can always count on your family to try to wind you up, or get one over on you.
Apparently, that still applies if you're one of the most celebrated filmmakers of all time.
Having heard - as many of us did - about The Irishman director's lack of respect for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Francesca Scorsese decided that she'd leave a little reminder in her gifts for her dear old dad.
Sharing a photo of herself wrapping gifts on her Instagram story, Francesca wrote: "Look at what I am wrapping my Dad's X-mas gifts in."
As you can see, all of our MCU favourites are there - The Incredible Hulk, Captain America, and at least a bit of Iron Man.
The younger Scorsese, an actress herself, was obviously referring to comments made by her dad recently in an interview with Empire.
Scorsese said about the MCU movies: "I don't see them. I tried, you know? But that's not cinema.
"Honestly, the closest I can think of them, as well made as they are, with actors doing the best they can under the circumstances, is theme parks.
"It isn't the cinema of human beings trying to convey emotional, psychological experiences to another human being."
Seems a bit harsh, given the joy and wonder they've brought to billions of people around the world, but he's entitled to his opinion.
He did direct Goodfellas, after all.
In an op-ed for the New York Times, he doubled down on his assertions about the comic book behemoth.
He wrote: "Many films today are perfect products manufactured for immediate consumption.
"Many of them are well made by teams of talented individuals. All the same, they lack something essential to cinema: the unifying vision of an individual artist."
He also added that the domination and proliferation of films such as those within the Marvel Cinematic Universe "is brutal and inhospitable to art."
Whilst they've not officially responded, Disney CEO Bob Iger has said that he'd like to have a meeting with Scorsese in order to clear the air.
Perhaps he'll ask him to direct the next Avengers flick.
Imagine Al Pacino digitally de-aged to play Spider-Man...
Anyway, hopefully Francesca's little prank will have at least drawn a smile.
