Since season three of Daredevil premiered last year, bringing the show to an end, fans have definitely felt the Charlie Cox shaped hole in their lives

But thanks to their campaigning, it looks like Cox's Man Without Fear will return to the MCU at some point.

Marvel still have a few years left where they can't touch the Defenders thanks to lengthy contract agreements, but recent reports have pointed out that Kevin Feige is keen to bring some of them back as soon as they are able to

After recent pointers that indicated Cox was likely to return as Matt Murdock in MCU movies - Marvel appeared to confirm the news shortly after, according to We Got This Covered.

And now, it looks as though another source has given us an update on the situation. Trusted film buff Daniel Richtman has tweeted saying he thinks a return for Cox's Daredevil is go.

A Twitter user asked him: "Is it true that Feige loves Cox and want him for the MCU?"

To which Richtman replied: "From what I'm hearing yes. Doesn't mean it's a sure thing tho. I really hope they'll make it work and bring him back."

Of course - nothing is ever fully certain until Marvel officially confirm it, but it's looking good for fans of Cox.

Daredevil was cancelled after its third season last year.

In a statement shared with Deadline, the streaming service said: "Marvel's Daredevil will not return for a fourth season on Netflix.

"We are tremendously proud of the show's last and final season and although it's painful for the fans, we feel it best to close this chapter on a high note.

"We're thankful to showrunner Erik Oleson, the show's writers, stellar crew and incredible cast including Charlie Cox as Daredevil himself, and we're grateful to the fans who have supported the show over the years."

The statement went on to assure fans that although there would be no new episodes, the previous three season would remain on Netflix, available to stream.

It also promised: "The Daredevil character will live on in future projects for Marvel."

Looks like it's just a matter of time then, lads.
