Marvel appears to have just dropped a fairly big hint that a new Fantastic Four flick is coming fairly soon. See if you can spot it in the clip below:

Got it? No? OK...

In a teaser of its upcoming movie slate, the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) gave fans some new details about what's in store for Phase Four, including the title of the Black Panther sequel (Black Panther: Wakanda Forever) and a release date for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. (5 May 2023).

Oh, and there also appeared to be some official confirmation that Marvel's First Family will be joining the MCU in Phase 4. During the list of upcoming events, the Fantastic Four's logo briefly flashed on screen - although it's the only project listed without a prospective release date.

As you can imagine, fans are getting pretty excited about it, with one person posting on Twitter: "Phase Four going to end with Fantastic Four. I see you Kevin Feige."

Another wrote: "Fantastic Four in the MCU finally. I've waited my whole life for this."

A third fan said: "So I've just found out they're doing a new film with the Fantastic Four and I'm so bloody happy."

Rumours of a new Fantastic Four movie have been swirling for years, but with Fox owning the rights to the characters and banning them from appearing in the Disney-owned MCU it seemed like a non-starter - until Disney acquired 20th Century Fox in 2019, of course.

Back in December, Disney announced Jon Watts, who has previously worked on the Spider-Man franchise, would be taking charge of a new Fantastic Four movie.

And although, for now, casting and plot details are being kept strictly under wraps, The Office actor John Krasinski was rumoured to be linked to the project and is more than happy to step up if asked.

Speaking to Total Film, Krasinski said: "You're like, 'Do you have any interest in not shattering people's dreams?' I would love to be in the Marvel universe.

"I love those movies because they're fun, but I also think they're really well done. And certainly a lot of my friends are in those movies. I have no idea what [Marvel] are thinking.

"But if they are considering me for Mr. Fantastic, continue to consider me because I would love it."

As yet, there's no release date for the movie, but we'll let you know as soon as there is.
