The fourth series of Money Heist - or La Casa De Papel, if you're a Spanish speaker - is to be released on Netflix on April 3.

If you're starting to get really excited about that, how about checking out the new trailer that has just been released?

The immensely popular show is the biggest non-English language show on the streaming platform, and has won a whole heap of awards, including the Best Drama gong at the International Emmy Awards, and at the Premios Fénix, which is a similarly big-time Spanish language TV awards ceremony.

Created by Álex Pina, Money Heist tracks a crew of eight criminals as they try to break into the Royal Mint of Spain.

When we last left off at the end of season three, the crew was back in action and planning an even larger heist than the original one.

It turned out to be an engineered ruse in order to rescue one of their fellow comrades who had been captured, but then everything descended into absolute chaos and all-out warfare.

As the latest season drew to a conclusion, The Professor was convinced that Raquel is dead, and calling for DEFCON, which would mean rocket propelled grenades being fired at a tank that is heading over to storm the Bank of Spain.

Nairobi looks pretty set to die, given that she's got a bullet wound, and The Professor's plan appears to be in danger, if not completely scuppered, by the introduction of a brand-new police negotiator.

In a recent recap, there were no shots of Nairobi, leading to speculation that she's totally screwed.

Hey, we'll just have to figure it out as we go along.

Fans of the show will no doubt be excited to get a glimpse at what is to come, which will no doubt involve more hails of gunfire, more suspense, and more explosions and silly masks.

What's not to love, eh?

When the show's fourth outing was announced, it was just after Pina had signed an exclusivity deal with Netflix, which means that the streaming giant is the only place you'll be able to catch up.

In a press conference, he said: "They're [the characters are] a group of people who still have a lot to say. It took us quite a long time to decide, we wanted to respect our work."

Once again, Money Heist season four will be available to stream on Netflix on April 3 2020.
