This is the moment a mum awkwardly surprised her daughter with the gift of a tummy tuck in front of her mortified friends during a doting speech at her graduation party:
Brittani Cooper was ready and raring to go for her big Police Academy graduation bash - mainly because she thought her crush was going to be there (but he isn't and he blocked her). But more on that later.

That's the moment Brittani's mum Mary decided to share the surprise gift she was getting for her daughter in front of the entire room - presumably to cheer the teen up.
On tonight's episode of sMothered (which airs at 9pm on TLC), Mary takes the mic inside the function room and starts getting sentimental and tearful about how proud she is of Brittani.
She explains: "I want everybody to know that Brittani had a gastric sleeve done about a year and a half ago and she's taken off over 100lbs," and the room claps awkwardly.

Mary then goes on: "Brittani's wanted a tummy tuck because she's lost so much weight she has a lot of loose skin around her tummy. I want everybody to know that I'm going to be paying for your tummy tuck that you've been wanting! That's my gift to you!"
Instead of doing what many young people would do in that situation, Brittani seems to shock the audience a little more as she tells Mary: "Mum, I just want to say that you're my best friend, you're my soulmate and heart. You are one of a kind."
Brittani's friend, Anastasia explains: "If my mum made an announcement like that I would be a little embarrassed if I didn't know about it."

Speaking to the camera, it's clear that Brittani doesn't share her friends' embarrassment. "No, it was not embarrassing because I've been through a lot.
"I'm a survivor. For me to go through what I've been through, like bullying and body image issues, look at me now. It makes me who I am today. I am so excited for my tummy tuck."
Oh and if you were wondering what happened with Brittani's crush, Zach, you might not be too surprised to find out that a plan was put together by none other than Mary herself to get in touch with him.

She arranged for one of her friends to text him on an unknown number before saying: "Brittani went to text Zach and it didn't go through, so I actually had my friend Dawn text him and it went through. He blocked her." Oh then she says she wants to 'rip his head off and shove it up his ass'...
