Fans have been treated to a new trailer for the Black Widow Marvel spin-off film.

The Avengers spin-off stars sees Scarlett Johansson back as Russian killer Natasha Romanoff in her first solo Marvel film.

She stars alongside Florence Pugh, who plays her 'sis' Yelena Belova. Rachel Weisz also appears opposite Johansson as Melina Vostokoff, as does David Harbour (known to Stranger Things fans as Hopper), who plays Red Guardian.

To be honest, this movie looks like it will be unbelievable.

The Super Bowl trailer was snappy, but gives us a good look at all the action and badassery that will be squeezed into the film.

So what can we expect from the movie? Well, Black Widow - aka Natasha Romanova - was given to the KGB at birth, and was groomed and conditioned into becoming its ultimate agent.

Stranger Things' David Harbour will be in the film.

But following the break-up of the USSR, the government tried to killer her off, leading her to become a freelance operative in present-day New York.

This standalone film will find her living in the US 15 years after the fall of the Soviet Union, and at some point you'd have to imagine we're going to learn about her involvement with Nick Fury's S.H.I.E.L.D. organisation.

Alongside Scarlett, Robert Downey Jr is rumoured to return as Iron Man/Tony Stark, and it looks like the world's tallest bodybuilder will also be joining the cast.

Olivier Richters - who, standing at an incredible 7ft 2in, is also nicknamed the 'Dutch Giant' - only made his break into cinema fairly recently.

The Dutch strongman shared the huge news on Instagram, where he wrote: "I can finally tell you guys! For the last 3 weeks, I have been in the UK filming my part for the movie: Black Widow (Marvel Studios).

"This year in January, for the first time in my life I started to join castings for movies, who would have thought that I got to start with The King's Man, then onto Gangs of London (HBO) and now Black Widow (Marvel).

"If someone in 2018 told me my career in the movie industry would start like this, I would have called an ambulance for him.

"It has always been my dream to do something with my size. Can't wait for all the releases in 2020."

We also know it will be directed by Cate Shortland, best known for the 2017 movie Berlin Syndrome, with the screenplay written by Jac Schaeffer, co-writer of 2019's The Hustle and - of course - Captain Marvel.

Black Widow is set for release on 1 May 2020.
