Remember Pete Bennett from series seven of Big Brother? He was the loveable guy with Tourette's that won the show and ended up with Nikki Grahame (who IS she?).

Well, he's now a professional actor and has featured in a number of low-budget movies and short films.

They include short films Female Zombie Riot (2016) and Crispy's Curse (2017). His latest appearance has been in a programme called Green Fingers and the 38-year-old is due to star in Nan: The Movie which is a spin-off focusing on the backstory of Catherine Tate's famous TV pensioner.

Things haven't always been plain sailing for Pete though. Back in 2015 he featured on The Jeremy Kyle Show and spoke openly about his addiction to drugs.

He said: "The work dried up pretty fast, no one would touch me with a barge pole because I was to do with Big Brother. I lost it all.

"It all kind of went wrong, it didn't go to plan. I had all that money and I didn't know what to do with it. I put it on the wrong things. I was homeless after having so much money, it's easy come, easy go. The fame pushed me in a way I didn't want to go, I didn't like it.

"I got into drugs 15 years ago, I've always been a party animal, I was addicted to ketamine. I went to get proper help for my addiction."

He was on the programme to speak about how he'd overcome those obstacles, adding: "I'm in a better place than I am, it would be nice to have my mates here and all that, I've been through a lot of loss. I've got into acting and I've got into films, my Tourette's has calmed down. Hollywood is next."

Pete looks totally unrecognisable to how most people remember him when he was on Big Brother. Believe it or not but a lot can change in 14 years...

Back in 2006 he was sporting bright red hair, ripped jeans and wore eyeliner. Now he's looking much smarter and has ditched the colourful dye.

After winning the show's £100,000 prize money, Pete was praised for putting Tourette's on the map, increasing awareness of his condition and continuing to make TV appearances.
