As fans come to terms with Power ending, Starz has dramatically announced there's three more spin-off series in the works . Not bad, eh?

Rumours of Power spin-offs, sequels and prequels have been batted around for a while - and last year it was revealed that Power Book II: Ghost starring Mary J Blige would be coming to Starz and picking up where the original series ended.

However, now a raft of three more titles have been added to the Power universe, with actor 50 Cent sharing a list of the new series on Twitter: Power Book III: Raising Kanan, Power Book IV: Influence, and Power Book V: Force.

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Starz's president and CEO, Jeffrey Hirsch said: "In television history, only a select few shows have inspired four consecutive series extensions, launched into active production and development at the same time.

"These new and exciting chapters will continue the journey of some of Power's most controversial characters while featuring a growing ensemble of complex, distinct characters along with the high-octane drama that set Power in a class of its own."

According to the report, Power Book III: Raising Kanan is set to be a prequel set in the 1990s - and looks to be the series previously teased by 50 Cent in an Instagram post.

Power Book IV: Influence will centre on Rashad Tate (played by Larenz Tate) and his journey to try and get as much power as possible.

While Power Book V: Force will follow Tommy Egan's (Joseph Sikora) as he tries to leave his old life behind him and start again in New York.

Fans were already alerted to a Tommy-centric spin-off after 43-year-old Sikora shared a photo on Instagram in which he wore a hat that read Tommy Season One.

In case one not-so subtle message wasn't enough for you, he also wrote: "Who's READY?!" alongside it, leaving little doubt in fans minds about an upcoming spin-off.

Starz president of programming Carmi Zlotnik has previously spoken about wanting to 'expand the Power universe'.

Speaking last year, he said: "Season six brings us to the end of what we know is just the first chapter of the Power story. However, as one chapter comes to an end, another will begin.

"Courtney Kemp and 50 Cent have created a world rich with complex and dynamic characters and there are a number of stories we plan to tell as we continue to explore and expand the Power universe."
